Turkey Season Now Open!
The 19th Annual Davis Turkey Trot is just around the corner and registration is now open! In fact, we will be at the Fleet Feet Labor Day Race this Monday, September 4th, accepting entries in-person. Registrations received on or before September 4th are just $20.00 for the 5K/10K and $12 for the Kid's Fun Runs!
Join us at the Labor Day Race for a 5K/10K Run/Walk, and Kid's 1K. Before and after the race, A Change of Pace will host a booth and will be offering face painting for kids as well as accepting Davis Turkey Trot registrations. The Labor Day Race starts at 8:00 a.m. and starts/finishes at Fleet Feet-Davis on Second Street. More information on this event can be found at www.goldenvalleyharriers.org.
The Davis Turkey Trot is the City of Davis' largest road race, and it includes a 5K Baby Jogger Run/walk, 5K and 10K run/walks, and two kids fun runs. The Davis Turkey Trot is an annual tradition that takes place the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving. This year's event will occur at Civic Center Field on B Street on Saturday, November 18th but will have a couple of fun new twists and turns which will be announced shortly.
