2011 Management Calendar of Events

In addition to our own events, we are honored to work with many other events in the region. A complete listing is available here. Featured below are our management clients for 2011.

Held at California's Great America, the Mission City Run includes 5K and 10K Courses as well as a One Mile Walk. Participants travel through the theme park during their run or walk and get to enjoy a behind the scenes view of the park. The event is a fundraiser for the Mission City Fund, devoted to providing and/or funding much-needed social services programs in Santa Clara. Read more about this event here.

 

The Doggy Dash is the largest Dog-friendly 5K in the region. Runners and walkers from the greater Sacramento area converge upon William Land Park for a morning that starts with a 3.1 mile walk with your dog, followed by a giant canine-themed expo area with vendor booths, samples, demonstrations and more. The event is a fundraiser for the Sacramento SPCA. Read more...

 

Nested in the hills of Alameda County sits the small but vibrant town of Orinda. On Saturday, August 27, kids from Pre-School through High School compete in the NorCal Kids Triathlon, also known as the Tri-For-Health, where they compete in a swim-bike-run event. Events start and finish at Miramonte High School and travel on the nearby paths and campus. Read more ...

 

Held in the memory of Rhett Seevers, the Runnin' for Rhett race seeks to inspire it's participants to embrace their Foundation's motto of "Move Into Life." With Rhett's story as an inspiration, a fun and energetic group of runners and walkers created this Downtown Sacramento event to provide an event that encourages people embrace fitness, as well as the culminating event for the Runnin' for Rhett Youth Fitness Program's Fall Session. Clarksburg is home to many vineyards and provides a perfect venue for a country run, yet is just fifteen minutes from Downtown Sacramento. The event includes 5K, 20 Mile and Half Marathon courses that travel along the country roads of the region. Held a month before the California International Marathon, it is an excellent warm up for the CIM. Read more...

 

Thanksgiving Day is a family-oriented day, and what better way to start the morning by a run or walk through Downtown Walnut Creek and the nearby Iron Horse Trail. With both 5K and 10K distances to choose from, plus three kid's fun runs, it is a family event with a distance for everyone. The Turkey Trot is a fundraiser for Walnut Creek schools via P.E.A.K. Education Foundation and the Walnut Creek Education Foundation. Read more...
