The First Annual Natomas May Day Run will take place on Sunday, May 2, 2010 and will include 5K and 10K Run/Walks that travel through the Natomas area in North Sacramento. The Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center and a group of community leaders and volunteers have been working hard to put together this community event that will raise much-needed funding support for the Center. The Center has been serving the communities for over 70 years; programs include a Children’s, a new Teen Center, Seniors, Emergency Assistance program, and a Neighborhood Outreach programs.

Date: Sunday, May 2, 2010

Start Time: 9:00 a.m.

Place: All activities will take place at the Natomas Community Center, located at 2921 Truxel Road, Sacramento, CA 95833.

Distances: 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) courses will be offered. A kid's 1/4 Mile fun run (ages 10 & Under) will take place at 11:00 am.

PRE-REGISTRATION: On or before April 28

ENTRY FEE: $25.00 for individuals; $100 per team (5-10 people). $10.00 for the Kid's Run.

LATE REGISTRATION: On Race Morning (May 2)

TIME: 7:45-9:00 AM

WHERE: Natomas Community Center near Start/Finish Line.

ENTRY FEE: $35.00 per person.

The kid's 1/4 mile run takes place at the S. Natomas Community Center.

There will be one fluid station on the 5K and two on the 10K.

 

Volunteers are needed on event morning to assist with a variety of tasks, including participant registration, course monitors, finish line timing, set up, clean up and refreshments. To sign up, or for more information, click here.
