ACE (Arm Strengthening Exercises) Tour

AnimatedACEPBThe ACE (Arm Conditioning Exercise) Tour recently announced the launch of a unique arm strength and conditioning program. The Tour will consist of 20 clinics in as many cities throughout the greater northern California region.

The ACE Baseball/Softball program emphasizes the importance of arm care and educates an athlete on how to build strength, stamina, and most importantly, teach injury prevention. Clinic ages range from 9-18 years old.

The ACE Program consists of a series of isometric resistance arm strengthening exercises. It also includes long toss, and the importance of proper throwing mechanics. Each clinic will address arm strengthening through arm circles, our very own ACE PowerBand (surgical tubing) and long toss. Progress is closely charted and throwing technique is strictly monitored. In addition to the exercises, the program touches upon staying mentally focused. The ACE Program not only teaches players how to properly take care of their arm, but provides the necessary tools and information to maintain ones level of performance for years to come. The program really works to increase flexibility, power, distance, and stamina.

The combination of our exercises coupled with a players desire to gain a physical edge over his/her opponents have consistently proven to be invaluable to every player that has participated. Please check the dates for a clinic near you.

A Solution to arm injury

The majority of ballplayers, parents and youth coaches are not knowledgeable about the appropriate arm fitness level. Simply warming up prior to a practice or a game doesn’t even scratch the surface. Little League coaches have limited time with their practices, thus most of the energy is placed on batting and fielding. The arm, which is considered the most important part of your game is often neglected. Thus the arm is often under trained leaving it prone to injury and/or sore. Recently, many concerns have been raised about arm injuries and why this is occurring. These concerns have even forced Little League Baseball to place a mandatory limit on how many pitches a player can throw in a game. While this is a one solution, the bigger picture of arm care and conditioning has not been taught. The ACE (Arm Conditioning Exercise) Program confronts the problem head on and provides a proven solution.
