Dear Participant,
Thank you for pre-registering for the River City Women's Triathlon taking place this weekend at Discovery Park.
Packet Pick Up will be held on both Saturday and Sunday at Discovery Park. On Saturday, Aug. 23rd, you may pick up your packet from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. At this time you will receive your run, bike and helmet numbers, your timing chip, swim cap, tshirt, goodie bag and an informational sheet with race information. During this time you will also be able to see the layout of the transition area, finish line and the rest of the staging area. Our vendors and sponsors will also be set up and sampling / showcasing their products and services. Our staff will be on-site to answer any last-minute questions you might have.
Packets will also be available for pick up on race morning, from 5:30 - 7:15 a.m.
We will also be accepting registration for the event on both Saturday and on Sunday. A confirmed list of entrants is posted on our website at <disabled link.
Wave Start Times: You will be assigned a wave start time based on your age. The waves are:
30-34 yrs 7:30 a.m.
35-39 yrs 7:35 a.m.
29&U yrs 7:40 a.m.
40+ yrs 7:45 a.m.
Relays 7:50 a.m.
Volunteers?
We are still in need of a few more volunteers for the event. This is an excellent way for friends or family to support you while you participate in an event, have a first-class view of the action and have fun. Areas include transition area, body marking and transition split timing. A couple of kayak/canoe volunteers are still needed for the swim course. Volunteers will be able to check in on race morning near the registration area.
