Registration Reminder: Davis Turkey Trot
As a past participant in an A Change of Pace event, you are being sent this reminder regarding registration for the 17th Annual Davis Turkey Trot. This year's event will take place on the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving, on November 20th.
The last day to register at the current entry fee is this Saturday, November 6th. Current entry fees for the 5K or 10K are $22 for short sleeve & $27 for long sleeve. The Davis Turkey Tot Kids Fun Run entry fee is $12 and will remain so through November 17th.
The deadline to register for a long sleeve t-shirt has been extended by seven days. The new deadline is next Saturday, November 13th. So if you would like to register for a long sleeve t-shirt, we suggest you do so within the next week.
How To Register:
- · Online. Online registration is convenient, fast and secure; available 24 Hours per day. Click Here to link: http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1112079. Online registration is available through midnight on Wednesday, November 17th.
- · In Person. You can register in person at Fleet Feet - Davis (615 2nd Street) or at Fleet Feet - Vacaville (354 Merchant Street).
- · By Mail. Register by mail is available through Saturday, November 13th. An entry form may be downloaded from our website at: http://www.changeofpace.com/2004_tt_registration.html.
General Davis Turkey Trot Information: 
· Distances Offered: 5K Run/Walk, 5K Baby Jogger/Stroller Division, 10K Run, Kid's 1/2 and 1/4 Mile Fun Runs
· Start Times: 5K Baby Jogger/Stroller Run/Walk - 8:00 am; 5K Run/Walk - 8:20 am; 10K Run - 9:00 a.m.; Kids Fun Runs - 10:30 a.m.
· Date: Saturday, November 20th
· Location: Civic Center Field, Downtown Davis
· Awards and Age Groups: Three-deep awards in the 5K/10K Runs in 5 year age divisions up to 75+. Includes custom medal and Asics apparel. Ribbons to all Kid's Run finishers.
· Post-Race Festival: Vendor booths, canned food drive, live music and more. Our Kid's Fun Area will be doubled in size this year and will keep your children busy the entire morning! Kid's Fun Run will feature two re-designed courses with a special kid's-only finish line on the grass near the fun area.
· Event Benefits: The Davis Turkey Trot & Tot Runs assists several Davis non-profit organizations and clubs as well as the Yolo County Food Bank.

LOOKING AHEAD....
The 24th Annual Davis Stampede is just around the corner. The 2005 event will take place on Sunday, February 6th. Mark your calendars! The Davis Stampede will include a 5K, 10K and Half Marathon. We are currently working on a brand-new venue at UC Davis that will include completely redesigned USATF certified courses. Registration for this event is now available.
