As the holidays approach, we would like to wish each and every one of you a safe, happy and healthy holidays.

February 6th seems far off, but we are already preparing for the 23rd Annual Davis Stampede 5K, 10K and Half Marathon.

We have an early registration special - all entries received on or before this Sunday, December 19th will qualify for the early entry fee ($20.00 for the 5K or 10K and $30 for the Half Marathon). As in years past, we are also offering the option to upgrade your entry to a long sleeve t-shirt for just $5 (through Jan. 25).

The 2005 event will again take place at Downtown Davis' Central Park (3rd & B Streets). In response to many requests, the event will feature new start times and a slightly revised 5K course. This will help alleviate congestion on the course for all three distances. All three courses are flat, paved, loop courses that travel through the UC Davis Campus and nearby country roads. The 2005 start times will be:

8:20 am - Half Marathon Start
8:30 am - 5K Start
8:40 am - 10K Start

How to Register:

There are three easy ways to register for the 2005 Davis Stampede:

2. At Fleet Feet Davis. Fleet Feet Davis (615 2nd St.) is open 7 days a week for your convenience. While you're there, why not pick up a few holiday gifts for your running/walking companions.
3. By Mail. The US Mail is always an option for registration for A Change of Pace events. To qualify for the early bird prices, be sure to have your envelope postmarked by this Saturday, December 18th.
