
A Change of Pace currently has two employment openings:
Position Title: Marketing / Office Assistant
Compensation: $9.50/hour. Reviews at 1, 6 and 12 months.
Position Type: Part Time
Hours per week: 15-20; varies by week.
Schedule: flexible hours between 9-5 pm.
Weekends Required?: approximately 1x/month
Qualifications: Good communication and writing skills. Must be able to take initiative and complete tasks on time. Knowledge of general Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel. Competent at online research. Team player. Experience in sales could be helpful.
Position Description: much of the work will be done to procure both new and existing event vendors for our running/walking and triathlon events. Tasks will also include creating and updating databases and distribution of marketing materials. Some light office work and data entry will be required.

Position Title: Registration & Finish Line Timing Assistant
Compensation: $9/hour. Review at 3 months.
Position Type: Part Time
Hours per week: average event is 5-7 hours.
Weekends Required?: Yes. This position is weekends only; all events take place on the weekends (Sat. and Sun.) in the early AM. A typical event requires the employee to work from 5:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Qualifications: Organized and ability to multi-task. Able to coordinate and oversee race volunteers and explain their tasks in a polite and informative manner. Able to work under pressure.
Position Description: Our registration/finish line timing assistants attend events at which we are providing registration & finish line timing services. Duties include overseeing race day registration as well as coordinating the finish line. Most events are in the greater Sacramento area, although some are in the Bay Area. All events are on the weekends. See above for timeframes.
