About Our Instructors

The Just FIT Bootcamp instructors come with vast experience in personal training, sports fitness and are both certified trainers. Both of their personalities are highly energetic, enthusiastic and have a desire to help their clients reach their desired goals. They are ready to take your fitness to the next level.

MissFIT runnerLisaLisa Yackzan Herrington -  ACE Certified Personal Trainer and UCSD Certified Exercise Science Fitness Instructor -   While in San Diego Lisa had the opportunity to work at Fitness Quest 10, a world-class performance center and sports facility, where she trained people of all ages and abilities. It was at Fitness Quest 10 that Lisa was introduced to boot-camp classes and discovered you don’t need a gym to get in shape. Your own body weight and a little motivation will do the trick. In addition to her work at Fitness Quest 10, Lisa designed fitness programs for San Diego Medical Services Enterprise which was comprised of San Diego Firefighters, paramedics and EMTs. In 2006, Lisa moved back to her hometown of Davis, California and began a series of exercise programs. She taught outdoor boot-camp classes, implemented a fitness training program with the Rumsey Fire Department and was an assistant P.E. coach. Lisa currently works full-time for Maloof Sports and Entertainment but still finds time for her passion ~ inspiring others to lead healthy lifestyles. She teaches spin classes and exercise classes at various gyms around Davis and recently completed her first Boston Marathon. Lisa finds great satisfaction in helping others achieve their goals.

MissFIT runnerJenJennifer Miramontes -  IDEA Certified Personal Trainer - Jennifer Miramontes has been involved in fitness since her first junior Olympics in 1977. While studying at Pepperdine University in Malibu, she began her own personal training and corporate aerobics business. After graduating from Pepperdine she began her marketing career Chiat-Day Advertising agency and continued her personal training at the Beverly Hills Health Club. In 1987, she moved to Davis and started A Change of Pace – sport and event marketing – with her husband Dave. Throughout her marketing career, Jennifer continued her passion for health and fitness. She has maintained a core group of personal training clients, coached several running groups, ten season of youth soccer and started elementary school fitness programs. Coming full circle, Jennifer has decided to again concentrate on her true passion, fitness. She is an IDEA certified personal trainer and an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) certified group fitness instructor. She recently completed her   certification as a Medical Exercise Specialist and a Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist through the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehab Professionals. She has worked with all ages, from young children to seniors to seasoned athletes; encompassing all fitness levels.  Her expertise is in functional fitness; with a focus on cardiovascular development, improving posture, movement efficiency and overall muscular performance.
