Join us on Sunday, March 2nd for the Natomas Founder's Day Run. Celebrate the community of Natomas, participate in a 5K or 10K run/walk, and be sure to bring your kids 10 & under for the FREE kid's fun runs.

All courses start and finish at the Village at Sacramento Gateway, one of Natomas' finest shopping centers. A Starbucks is just 50' from the finish line! Plenty of parking is available, and the start/finish is just off I-80 at the Truxel exit.

Fleet Feet Valentine's Special: Register at Fleet Feet - Davis, Vacaville, Sacramento, Fair Oaks or Roseville by Friday, February 15th and save $5.00 on your race entry!! This offer lasts only through Friday, February 15th and is only available at the designated Fleet Feet locations. And, while you're at Fleet Feet registering for the run, it wouldn't hurt to pick up your Valentine some cool gear, so that they can look sweet while they sweat.

WAYS TO REGISTER:

1. Register online. It's fast and easy! Available through February 27th. Click here to link.

2. Register via Mail. Download the entry form, complete, and mail by February 25th.

3. Register on Race Day starting at 7:30 am near the start line.

ENTRY FEES:

5K or 10K - $25.00 by February 25th ($20.00 if under 18); $30.00 thereafter.

Kid's Fun Runs - FREE! includes a T-shirt while supplies last.

BENEFICIARIES:

Proceeds from the event will be used to fund scholarships for local high school seniors.

COURSE MAPS:

Both the 5K and 10K courses will start together at 9:00 a.m. Both courses are loop courses along the nearby streets. See image at the bottom of this page, or download a PDF file of the course maps.

The kid's fun runs (ages 10 & under...FREE) are 1/4 mile (5 & U) and 1/2 Mile (ages 6-10). The kid's runs start at 10:30 a.m.

FREE KIDS FUN RUNS:

In an effort to promote and encourage exercise and physical fitness among our younger athletes, we are providing a Free kids run for anyone 10 & under. The distances are quite achievable (1/4 & 1/2 mile) while the finish line remains as large and appealing as the adult race. All kids receive a T-shirt (courtesy of Pardee Homes) and finishers ribbon.

AWARDS:

Overall male & female winner and top three age group finishes will receive special awards.
Awards Ceremony will start at approximately 10:45 am after the kids runs.
Age Divisions: 15 & Under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
Race Results will be posted by 5:00 pm on race day at www.changeofpace.com.

RACE AMENITIES:

Complimentary refreshments, live music, random prizes & tons of exhibitors booths.

DIRECTIONS:

From Interstate 5 take I-80 East and exit at Truxel Road. Turn left (North) and follow Truxel over the freeway to Gateway Park Blvd. Turn right on Gateway Park and then right at the light onto North Freeway Blvd. The start / finish area is located in the first complex on your right behind Center Court Restaurant.
