Swimmers awaiting the start	All age groups start in the pool - no diving.
Athletes must walk in the pool area until they cross under the balloon arch and pass through the gate	6 & Under competitors may have one parent to assist them out of the pool
Another 6 & Under entrant	6&Under competitors may have one parent at the opposite end of the pool. A familiar face can help ease any nervousness; and the parent can assist the athlete out of the pool.
Training wheels are also permitted.	Of course, helmets are required during the entire bike portion.
While some 6&Under entrants may need assistance in the transition area, others are able to complete everything themselves.
Bikes must be walked at all times in the transition area for safety reasons.
