Earn PEKT Scholarships for your school!!!

Now the Positive Energy Kids Triathlon can truly be a positive experience for all young athletes, regardless of economic resources.  The A Change of Pace Foundation has recently created a new scholarship program that enables entrants and volunteers the opportunity to earn credit points towards scholarships for students at their school.
 
How it Works
Each paid entry received by May 15 earns 2 points on behalf of that athlete’s school.
Each person that volunteers (on behalf of their school) by May 10 will earn 1 point.
For each 10 points a school earns, one scholarship will be granted to a student at that school. View School Totals.
 
How to Apply for a Scholarship:
Fill out a registration form completely and write “Request Scholarship” in the Fee Box (Step 5).
Download the Scholarship Application Form (Word File) (PDF File), complete and submit with your entry.

Mail entry and request form to A Change of Pace, or drop the entry off in person at Fleet Feet.  Scholarship requests must be RECEIVED by Thursday May 15.  To assure timely application, mailed requests should be postmarked no later than May 12. Scholarship requests can not be submitted with online registration.  Scholarships will be granted based upon points earned by the requesting athlete’s school and the number of available scholarships.  Applying for a scholarship does not guarantee one will be granted.  Notification of scholarships will be made by email on by May 16th. Be sure to include your email address on the form.
